Day 10

We have finally got to see our precious Redwoods and I think it is fair to say they are more than we could have imagined in our wildest dreams. If any of you can see anything in the States I'd have to say the Redwoods are #1. They are breath taking and I can't even say enough so I have just included a few pictures to give everyone a hint as to their majesty. Please enjoy

After our disapointing stay last night, we were really looking forward to today. We decided to splurge on 1 extravagant hotel of 30 budget stays. We chose the Benbow Inn and this time we were not disapointed at all. In a nutshell this hotel has been stayed in by the likes of Clark Gable & Spencer Tracy (sooo cool) and the hotel has been kept up to that standard to this day. We are in the middle of no where so our only option for dinner is to dine here and since Connor & Rhys really aren't Benbow's target clientele we have decided to get room service ($$$yikes) I foolishly let Greg order and we ended up with a very expensive bottle of wine (which was amazing !!) to go with our very expensive dinner (best dinner we have ever eaten, ever!!!) and we went to sleep with Cheshire Cat grins at the delectable feast we let ourselves enjoy.
